The Way Pizza Was Meant To Be
Firehouse Pizzeria was founded a little over a year ago by Jim and Geni Whited. Following a successful seven-year career as concessioners with Firehouse Grill, Jim and Geni wanted to expand their business, yet keep the firehouse theme to pay homage and respect to volunteer firefighters, EMT’s and police officers. Dedicated to making the best quality product, Firehouse Pizzeria will only use the highest quality ingredients, including their fresh, hand-made dough, to create the “Cadillac” of pizzas. Each pizza includes the choicest sauces, the most sumptuous cheeses, and toppings truly worthy of great, old-world style pizza. This attention to quality resulted in Firehouse Pizzeria being named “Best Pizza in the Tri-County” by the readership of The Courier-Express/Tri-County Sunday newspaper. Geni has an extensive background in baking and culinary arts from many years of running her own cake decorating business. Jim has served as a volunteer firefighter for 34 years with the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department; 32 years with Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Company and one year with the DuBois Fire Department. In addition to the best quality food, Firehouse Pizzeria offers discounts to Police, EMT’s and firefighters (dine in only, not valid with any other offers or discounts) every Monday, along with “kilt Mondays” where Jim makes deliveries in a Scottish Kilt, an iconic symbol long associated with the American firefighter, to thank all emergency responders for their service. Firehouse Pizzeria also offers lunch buffets, daily specials and a great place to bring the family. Our slogan is “The Way Pizza Was Meant to Be” because Firehouse Pizzeria was founded to return pizza back to its original roots, instead of the “big chain” versions which have destroyed the American palette for truly delectable pizza. If you’re going to get a pizza, why not get the best?
